Job description

SUMMARY: 

Responsible for assisting in the management of marketing databases.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

  • Performs data mining and queries of the database.
  • Prepares data files for importing and/or exporting.
  • Adjusts database settings as directed.
  • Performs database integration and data manipulation of player databases(s).
  • Ensures the database includes only active and mailable accounts by developing daily audits, developing and implementing data entry standards.
  • Identifies and/or runs mailing lists (direct mail and email) as required from the database(s).
  • Provides consistent database activity status reports.
  • Assists in providing support and input into all marketing and operational projects related to database.
  • Identifies inactive guests in the club database.
  • Maintains an effective database by periodically purging or cleaning up inactive or duplicate accounts.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A combination of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and two years of Casino Database Marketing experience are preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.  Knowledge of database marketing and reporting programs and systems required, including Access, Excel and relational database systems.  Must be numbers-oriented and computer literate, with database and software skills.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
