Role: DBA with MongoDB

Location: Detroit, MI / Hybrid

Duration: 12+ Months

Description:

  • 5+ years’ experience as MongoDB DBA supporting Databases and MongoDB cluster of significant sizes on- prem and on Cloud in AWS.  
  • MongoDB database administration, backup and restore, Version upgrade, User management, Mongo Cluster database support and ongoing support.
  • DB2 software installation, db2 create, backup and restore, upgrade and ongoing support of DB2 LUW databases on Linux.  
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration and support of versions 12.2.0 and 19c right from installation stage to maintenance and support.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and shell scripting required for database administration.
  • MongoDB version 6.0.x,7.0.x and 8.0.x to the latest version and high availability.
  • MongoDB OPS manager installation on the RHEL server, 6.0.x to 8.0.x and high availability MongoDB Replication concept.
  • Backup S3 bucket knowledge and Bash/Python scripting.
  • Okta integration with MongoDB.
  • MongoDB RBAC knowledge.
  • TLS setup for MongoDB, Secure connection between the Database nodes and application.
  • Knowledge about the data load, connections and metrics for the database.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
