Job Details:

Position: Sr. Database Engineer Location: Englewood, NJ (In-person Interview and Onsite role) Type: Contract - (C2C, W2, 1099)

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities
Database-first profile. Prioritize hands-on Database Engineers/DBAs.
Strong expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis (highest priority).
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, and ElastiCache.
Experience with database replication, high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
7- 10+ years of overall database administration/engineering experience.
Recent experience supporting production database environments.
Strong troubleshooting and database maintenance experience.
AWS experience is important; however, database administration must be the candidate s core strength.
Do not prioritize AWS Architects or DevOps profiles with limited DBA experience.
Avoid candidates whose primary background is Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
