Data Analyst | Greensboro, North Carolina, United States Job Summary: Data Analyst (Quality & Customer Insights) - Automotive Engineering Location: Fully Onsite - Greensboro, NC | Contract: 12 months (strong extension potential) | Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Friday About the Role Apex Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst specializing in Quality & Customer Insights to join a leading automotive engineering client onsite in Greensboro, NC. In this high-impact role, you will leverage your data analytics expertise to drive product quality improvements, uncover actionable customer insights, and directly influence decision-making for warranty and quality issues on trucks. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and engineering, with strong career growth potential and hands-on exposure to large-scale automotive data environments. Responsibilities - Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights related to product quality and customer experience. - Detect emerging issues and support root cause analysis through advanced data modeling and statistical techniques. - Develop and implement analytical methodologies to improve customer satisfaction, product reliability, and operational performance. - Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations (primarily in Power BI) to communicate findings and support key business decisions. - Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources (operational, customer, service, manufacturing) to generate holistic insights. - Apply statistical and machine learning methods (classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection) to solve business problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, data) ensuring alignment and driving analytics initiatives forward. - Support data structuring, modeling, and transformation for improved accessibility and usability. - Proactively identify opportunities to enhance analytics tools, workflows, and processes. - Present technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
