Systems Analyst III - Data Integration & ETL Developer

Austin, TX (Hybrid, Onsite & Telework)
Contract | Estimated Project Through August 2027

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III to support a large-scale healthcare data integration and analytics initiative within a high-impact enterprise environment. This role will focus on the design, development, automation, and optimization of enterprise data integration solutions supporting performance management, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level data engineering and systems analysis professional with deep ETL, SQL, and data warehousing expertise who enjoys working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Position Overview

The Systems Analyst III will play a key role in the development and enhancement of a large enterprise data integration hub. This individual will work closely with architects, data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support data acquisition, transformation, automation, validation, and reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Informatica Power Center or IICS, Snowflake SQL development, Oracle environments, dimensional data modeling, and enterprise analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Develop complex Snowflake SQL scripts, database views, and materialized views for enterprise analytics solutions
  • Acquire, integrate, and transform data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
  • Support enterprise data warehousing and dimensional modeling initiatives
  • Automate data acquisition and transformation processes
  • Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams on optimal data design and integration strategies
  • Perform verification, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of ETL workflows and SQL scripts
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and technical planning sessions
  • Create technical documentation, workflow diagrams, mapping documents, and system specifications
  • Develop mockups and collaborate with stakeholders to validate business requirements
  • Analyze changing business requirements and recommend technical enhancements
  • Support deployment, publication, and operational maintenance activities
  • Assist with implementation and configuration of development tools and environments

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center or IICS
  • 8+ years of experience integrating data from multiple data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex Snowflake SQL scripts
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise data warehousing, analytics, or performance management systems
  • Proven experience writing efficient, scalable, testable code using software development best practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and systems analysis skills
  • Experience with technical documentation, data mapping, and diagramming tools such as Visio or Erwin
  • Experience planning and delivering enterprise software platforms across multiple business units
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within Agile sprint teams
  • Experience handling healthcare, PHI, or PII data
  • Healthcare industry or HHS agency experience
  • Experience with Python scripting and automation
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience with REST or SOAP web services
  • Experience developing with Java and JavaScript
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Experience with MuleSoft development
  • Experience using AI-enabled development tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
