Job Description:
    Clients Tech Ops department is in the process of consolidating information from multiple source systems.
    Having an accessible centralized location for this data will enable improved data analytics, trending, dashboard and reporting.
    Implementing best practices in data management at the beginning of a data warehouse project will improve quality, enforce standards and ensure business intelligence goals are obtained.
    We are seeking an experienced consultant with a strong background implementing data management and governance strategies.
    This individual will assist Tech Ops with the management and implementation of a Data Governance strategy and roadmaps.
    Defining and managing master data tasks such as standardizing data definitions, business rules, master data entities, attributes and reference data.
    Collaborate and partner with key data stakeholders to establish and publish data management policies and procedures
    Help educate newly assigned Data Stewards & Data Custodians on their role and their ownership of the data and maintaining standards of data quality
    Provide process ownership including process improvements, designing new processes and developing performance measures
    Understands and has experience with implementing business intelligence, data analytics and other technologies from a strategic perspective and who can turn ideas into execution and delivery
    Good understanding of data warehousing, data marts, data source translations, connectors, data modeling, and data governance and integration techniques to the end user
    Proposes data workflow process improvements to increase data integrity and quality across the enterprise
    Working knowledge of Teradata, Cognos, SAS/SPSS and Tableau a plus
    This individual will provide technical leadership and professional guidance to managers and staff to ensure long-term succession and development of the data function within Tech Ops.
