Job description

The individual will be accountable for successful design, development, and delivery of SQL solutions within on prem SQL Server environment. An ideal candidate will be someone who leads, develops, maintains, and integrates processes for a data warehouse that will extract data from standardized or varied data sources and transforms data for storing in proper formats and structures for querying and analysis using SSIS. This would include loading data into an operational data store (ODS), and a dimensional model (EDM). Data exchange with Salesforce.
Scope of Role & Responsibilities
  • Perform extensive data analysis of the source transaction processing systems.
  • Develop new and modify existing data marts organizing the data in Star Schemas.
  • Develop and modify extraction transformation and loading procedures using SSIS packages
  • Develop new and modify existing SQL Server stored procedure to clean, consolidate and reorganize the data in format suitable for reporting.
  • Perform thorough testing of all new and modified data marts to ensure the quality of the data.
  • Performance tuning. Develop Full and Incremental Loads. Modify existing processes to ensure the data are loaded in a timely manner.
  • Trouble shooting. Perform analysis and suggest solutions for resolving production problems.
  • Provide maintenance and support for all the Data Warehouse loads.
  • Provide Ad Hoc reports and data analysis when needed.
  • Develop and modify Data submission processes to outside vendors and within the company.

Required Education, Training & Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent MS SQL Server skills
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • ETL tools experience
  • Health Insurance experience is a big plus
  • Working knowledge of generative AI.
  • Experience working with Health Rules Payor system is a big plus.
