These contracts are often used to bring in specialized expertise for data integration, migration, or analytics projects. Contractors may be responsible for tasks such as ETL development, data modeling, or optimizing data storage and retrieval. Such roles are usually project-focused and time-bound, offering flexibility to both the employer and the contractor. Data warehouse contractors are commonly employed by companies undergoing digital transformation or large data initiatives.
