Job description

Data Governance Manager

Contract-to-hire. Manager is open to candidates who are not able to convert.

100% Telecommute Hours: 9-5 central

Interview Process: 3 rounds via video. Moderately technical.

Project: AL EDS is a medicaid data warehouse. It uses Azure, snowflake and ADF as its tool stack. The data governance tool is purview for the AL EDS and for the State is Colibra. The state has a mature governance program and wants us to jump in and integrate our process into theirs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the data governance plan
  • Work with the data manager to enact the data governance plan
  • Work with the States data governance office to integrate the states and the EDS plan

Ideal Background: Experience in data warehousing and medicaid are important, data governance however is the most important. Process over tools for sure.
