What is data virtualization?

Data virtualization is a technology that allows users to access, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources without physically moving or copying the data. It creates a virtual data layer that connects disparate systems, providing a unified view of information in real-time. This approach simplifies data management, reduces storage costs, and enables faster decision-making by providing up-to-date data on demand. Data virtualization is commonly used in business intelligence, analytics, and data integration projects.
