Job description

Trace Inc. is a Military Contractor and has been in business since 1993. We are currently located on 19 different Military Bases throughout the nation.

In addition to being a Non- Profit Organization we are also an Ability One Contractor. We specialize in hiring and training individuals with disabilities to include Veterans and Civilians. Please note a Disability is not required.

Trace is excited to announce we are hiring a Night Custodian at Hunter AAF. We want the candidate to start ASAP. In addition to all the free Benefits, the starting pay is $17.75/hour. This is a growing site so there will be plenty of opportunities. If you want to join a team that supports our Active Duty Military and Veterans, please apply today.

Shift - The candidate will work a 5 on 2 off starting at 8:00PM. The finish time depends on the load size but will usually be between 2:00AM and 4:00AM.

Night Custodian Description:

Custodians are responsible to clean all areas of the commissary to include the Sales Floor, Warehouse, Office Areas and Meat room. Below is a brief description of the areas and types of cleaning to be expected.

  • Run Floor Scrubber
  • Vacuum all carpets.
  • Dust window ledges.
  • Clean Window and Door glass.
  • Empty trash.
  • Mop floors where applicable.
  • Dust walls and fixtures up to 8ft high.
  • Clean and Sanitize Counter tops.
  • Empty and Clean Refrigerators as required.
  • Clean Micro-Waves.
  • Sweep and Mop Floors,
  • Strip/Wax VCT when required.
  • Burnish VCT tile

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Needs to be dependable.
  • Should be comfortable around other employees.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Familiar with Chemical Safety Data Sheets.
  • Should have ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • If Driving on base, current Driver’s License, Insurance and Registration is required.
