Overview:
Position Title* Sr. Data Engineer Position Responsibilities Role: Sr. Data Engineer (4595)
Location: Des Moines, IA HYBRID (Local Candidates only)
Tools: Python, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, GitHub
Why is this position open? How is it impacting the business?
  • We are participating in a special pop-up effort shifting one of our resources to support that need, this contractor will help backfill the need.

Please describe the project work, and what do day-to-day responsibilities look like:
  • They will be working closely with our product manager and analytics consultant to help develop solutions to be implemented in our D&A space.
  • The work involved will be taking source data, doing the necessary ETL (extract, transform, load) to help build curated data products for our analysts to use in their insights.
  • There will be both independent as well as pairing opportunities based on feature size and existing skillsets. Often times we are also consulting with our analysts as they also explore AWS services. They will do most work in python, AWS and Snowflake.

What technologies or systems will this contingent worker be utilizing?
  • Python, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, GitHub, may have some legacy needs with Informatica but that is not a core technology we leverage.
