Help Shape How Sustainability Data Becomes Business-Critical Information
We're seeking a Sustainability Data Systems Manager to help advance Veralto's corporate sustainability data systems, collection processes, governance practices, and reporting capabilities across the global enterprise.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a process-minded professional who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, improving how organizations work, and collaborating across functions to solve business challenges. You'll play a highly visible role partnering with leaders across Sustainability, Finance, EHS, HR, Legal, and Veralto's operating companies to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and governance.
Success in this role means helping Veralto build repeatable, auditable, and scalable sustainability data processes; improving the adoption of standard work; supporting global stakeholders through change; and identifying practical opportunities to improve systems, reporting, and data quality over the first 12-18 months.
If you've built or managed enterprise data collection processes, implemented business systems, improved reporting workflows, or helped organizations adopt new ways of working, we'd love to hear from you.
This position is part of the Sustainability team and is based in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a hybrid scheme.
Internal Veralto associates can based at other U.S. operating company locations
Why This Role Is Different
Build something foundational
You won't be maintaining an established program. You'll help shape and mature sustainability reporting processes that support Veralto's future growth and regulatory commitments.
Influence across a global organization
You'll work directly with stakeholders across Veralto's operating companies and corporate functions, helping align people, systems, and processes around consistent reporting standards.
Bridge sustainability and finance
One of the most unique aspects of this role is partnering with Finance to help create governance and reporting disciplines for sustainability data that mirror the rigor of financial reporting.
Join a highly visible team
You'll become a core contributor on strategic initiatives supporting Veralto's sustainability goals and evolving regulatory requirements, including global reporting programs.
Meaningful impact without extensive travel
Travel is light, typically only a few trips each year, allowing you to focus on high-impact work while maintaining work-life balance.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
  • Manage and continuously improve Veralto's sustainability data systems, ensuring reliable, high-quality reporting across the enterprise. You'll use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into actionable recommendations.

  • Develop standardized data collection processes and documentation that improve consistency, transparency, and scalability across operating companies.

  • Partner with sustainability, finance, and business stakeholders to strengthen data governance practices and reporting controls. You'll use your experience collaborating across functions to achieve shared business objectives.

  • Support ongoing implementation and adoption of sustainability reporting systems by helping teams integrate new processes into their daily work.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve data quality, and increase reporting efficiency.

  • Translate business requirements into practical system and process improvements that create long-term value for internal stakeholders.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and insights that support informed decision-making throughout the organization.

  • Contribute to strategic sustainability initiatives and regulatory preparedness efforts across the company.

What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience improving business processes, reporting workflows, data collection programs, or system-enabled operations within a complex organization.

  • Experience working with enterprise data management systems, reporting platforms, or business process tools.

  • Experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting sustainability, EHS, ESG, operational, compliance, or corporate reporting programs.

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks or regulatory requirements such as CSRD, IFRS S1/S2, GRI, or SASB.

  • Experience with data governance concepts, reporting controls, or audit-ready business processes.

  • Experience with sustainability reporting platforms, Workiva, Sphera, or similar solutions.

  • Project management or continuous improvement experience.
