System Administrator
Ingrasys is a global leader in advanced technology and manufacturing, specializing in
cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and AI computing solutions. As a subsidiary of Foxconn
Technology Group, we're at the forefront of driving industry innovation through intelligent
systems and high-performance computing. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
System Administrator to join our IT team. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability,
security, and efficiency of our core IT infrastructure, directly supporting both our critical
production operations and essential office network systems.
Job Summary:
The System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration,
maintenance, and reliable operation of our server infrastructure, operating systems, and
key applications. You'll play a vital role in ensuring system performance, security, and
adherence to our global IT standards. This position involves proactive monitoring,
troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating closely with IT project managers and
other teams to support our dynamic manufacturing and office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• System & Server Management: Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade physical
and virtual servers (Windows, Linux). Ensure optimal performance, availability, and
stability of all server infrastructure.
• Virtualization & Storage Management: Manage and maintain Hyper-V
environments. Administer NAS and SAN storage solutions, ensuring data integrity
and accessibility.
• Core Application Administration: Configure and maintain essential Windows
server applications, including Domain Controllers (Active Directory), RADIUS
servers, and DNS services.
• Patch Management: Oversee and execute system updates using WSUS (Windows
Server Update Services), ensuring timely and secure patching of all relevant
Windows systems. This includes managing approval, deployment, and
troubleshooting of updates.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement, test, and manage robust backup and
recovery procedures using solutions like Veeam Backup & Replication for critical
systems and data to ensure business continuity.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices for servers
and systems. Manage antivirus solutions like Vipre Antivirus and conduct
vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus scanning. Ensure all
configurations and operations comply with established global IT standards and
policies.
• Data Center Operations: Assist with day-to-day operations within the Data Center,
including rack and stack of equipment, cable management, and environmental
monitoring.
• Network & Connectivity Support: Work with networking teams to ensure reliable
network connectivity for servers and applications. Assist in troubleshooting
network-related issues impacting system performance.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance, resource
utilization, and logs. Respond to alerts, diagnose complex technical issues, and
perform root cause analysis for system outages or performance degradation.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system
configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT Project Managers on new deployments and
upgrades, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth transitions.
Collaborate with other IT teams and end-users to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,
or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a professional IT environment,
preferably within the manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech sector.
• Strong hands-on experience and technical knowledge in:
o Hyper-V virtualization.
o Veeam Backup & Replication solution.
o NAS and SAN storage management.
o Windows Server administration, including Domain Controller, Active
Directory, RADIUS, and DNS.
o WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) administration.
o Antivirus management, particularly Vipre Antivirus.
o Vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus.
o Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, Rocky linux).
o Basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls.
• Familiarity with Data Center operations and best practices.
• Experience with application support in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively
independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
