As a Proposals Data Support Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering, recording, and verifying Ovation control system data to support Evergreen proposal development. The Evergreen program keeps Ovation systems up-to-date by replacing hardware and software components with current technology. Data collection will be performed both remotely and on-site in our Cranberry Township, PA office.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Collect, compile, and document technical data from multiple sources, including remote reviews and on-site system walkdowns.
  • Perform on-site data collection activities such as taking photos, capturing notes, validating field conditions, and redlining drawings as needed.
  • Verify collected data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies across system configurations, records, and drawings.
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in centralized tools and documentation systems.
  • Partner with Lifecycle Proposal Engineers to provide current system information and support the development of technical upgrade solutions.
  • Collaborate with Proposal Engineers, Regional Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Technical Advisors, and cross-functional Emerson teams.
  • Track open data requests and engineering inputs to support proposal development timelines.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and contribute ideas that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Proactively support the timely completion of overdue or high-priority data requests.

Who You Are:
You accomplish objectives despite ambiguity and complexity. You establish and maintain effective relationships to create a collaborative working environment. You design feedback loops into workflows to deliver continuous improvement.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
  • Working knowledge in SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English within technical and business settings.
  • Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including security and background checks.
  • Demonstrate strong learning agility, specifically in new technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
