Job description

Job Summary:
PeopleSERVE, Inc. is seeking a Systems Support Coordinator to provide critical support for their systems. The role involves performing batch and data support activities and requires strong knowledge of various managed file transmission protocols and mainframe tools.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform batch and data support activities using JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various Mainframe tools and practices such as Control M, TSO, ISPF, SQL, etc.
โ€ข Prior Experience with the Company's mainframe application and batch processing is a plus
โ€ข Availability to provide some off-hours/weekend on-call coverage as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3-5 Years of working experience and strong knowledge of FTP / SFTP / AS2/ NDM and other managed file transmission protocols
โ€ข Perform batch and data support activities using JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various Mainframe tools and practices such as Control M, TSO, ISPF, SQL, etc.
โ€ข Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Must be capable of learning complex processes quickly and have the ability to learn through independent research and as a member of a multi-location team
โ€ข Strong customer focus and customer satisfaction orientation
โ€ข The applicant should also demonstrate effective communication skills; both written and verbal, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical associates
โ€ข Ability to function effectively in a critical role balancing multiple projects and requests
โ€ข Availability to provide some off-hours/weekend on-call coverage as required
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior Experience with the Company's mainframe application and batch processing is a plus
โ€ข Experience with Python scripting a plus
