Product Data & Strategy Analyst 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADP Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Product Data & Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for improving operational and business objectives within Product Development. You will be analyzing product data utilization and supplier program management, aiding in the development of tools that prove business concepts and driving efficiencies across multiple departments. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Developing standardized reporting tools in collaboration with product development and product information teams o Supporting the implementation of strategic business plans for analytics and reporting needs o Compiling, structuring and analyzing data to support product data management and supplier integration efficiencies. o Implementing and creating efficiencies for various processes o Creating technical documentation for projects o Maintaining data security and integrity while meeting deadlines REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess or are working towards a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related Business field OR possess 2 years of relevant work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Willingness to work a flexible schedule o Willingness to travel o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess experience using programming languages such as VBA, SQL, R, Python and/or Java o Possess experience using data visualization, analytical software or an Oracle database (Tableau, Power BI, R, PeopleSoft, etc.) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
