Overview
The Document Control Specialist aka Data Services Representative will identify, aggregate, process and distribute compliance-related reports to fulfill consumer report requests in accordance with FCRA regulations.
This position requires Federal Security Clearance after hire.
Responsibilities
  • Will identify, aggregate, process and distribute compliance-related reports to fulfill consumer report requests in accordance with FCRA regulations.
  • Records relative activities within Sales Force, ensures all personal sensitive information is masked, compiles reports with appropriate federal regulatory disclosures and prepares report pack for mailing.
  • Responsible for communicating with the consumer via telephone or email to verify identity and report specifics as necessary.
  • May be responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews and/or processing of returned mail.
  • Accesses multiple current and legacy platforms (NextGen, OpTool, BAI, Tracker, DAC Edition) to assimilate reports and documents responsive to the specific type of consumer request.
  • Verifies and authenticates consumer personal (PSI) sensitive information with existing database
  • Communicates with consumer via email and/or phone to evaluate specific report requests to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Manually reviews every report/document to be provided to consumer to identify and mask 27 different types of consumer PSI
  • Determine the appropriate federal and/or state regulatory disclosures required to meet compliance regulations
  • Assimilate all required reports/documents into a single response packet for mailing or emailing. For emailed packets, documents are compiled using Adobe Pro 11 and Primo Converter
  • Completes Sales Force cases to record search results and note documents provided in response to the consumer's request.
  • Print reports and prepare for mailing
  • Conduct quality check of the response packet to ensure correct documents are provided, all pertinent PSI is masked and appropriate disclosures are enclosed.
  • Log and track other department related activities for quality and reporting purposes
  • Review and route internal and external requests (customers, consumers, AMs)
  • May assist with other assignments or projects
  • Adhere to FCRA regulations and internal SLA guidelines.
