Job Summary: The Data Services Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of client deliverables across multiple operational functions, including verification, ICL processing, and reporting. While each team member may have a primary focus area, all associates will be cross-trained to assist in other areas as needed to support workload fluctuations, maintain service levels, and foster a flexible, collaborative team environment. This position works closely with Account Managers, Operations personnel, and IT/Data Services leadership to ensure processes run smoothly and client expectations are met.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Verification & Balancing:
    • Verify ICL releases and ensure all balances are correct before deposits and reports are sent to banks and clients.
    • Audit checks for accuracy and reporting compliance.
    • Print and deliver cash checks for processing and balancing.
  • ICL Processing & File Management:
    • Coordinate with Production on batch release schedules.
    • Assist with batch balancing, releasing approved batches, and sending files to the appropriate financial institutions.
    • Send other client-required files as needed.
  • Reporting & Data Integrity:
    • Generate and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and special reports according to client-specific requirements.
    • Perform CRM balancing and investigate discrepancies (e.g., dropped records), ensuring corrections are processed accurately.
    • Work with multiple systems (AS400, CRM, Aegis Export, SharePoint) and follow client-specific processes.
  • Cross-Functional Support:
    • Assist in scanline approvals as needed.
    • Provide backup coverage for other team members' duties during peak workloads, absences, or special projects.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and provide exceptional service.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
