We are hiring a Senior Level M&S Architect to support key programs at NSWC Crane. This position will be based on-site at NWSC Crane. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Decompose military mission scenarios into logical threads that can be represented with digital models
  • Plan and design M&S toolsets to predict mission stressors and wargaming outcomes
  • Plan and design computer processing and cybersecurity protocol to run M&S toolsets
  • Plan and design data analysis and visualization of M&S results
  • Lead a development team to build and integrate M&S toolsets
  • Review and approve technical documentation and design changes
  • Test the fidelity of M&S toolsets
  • Orchestrate M&S toolsets to run virtual wargaming events

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job
  • 5+ years of experience integrating digital models to predict system-of-systems performance
  • 1+ years of experience working in a secure integrated data environment
  • Familiar with (or similar):
    • AFSIM
    • ITASE
    • Matlab
    • Python
    • SysML models
  • Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program, or computer science major, or mathematics major.
  • Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret/ TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a systems engineering job or mission engineering job
  • Experience with military mission scenario modeling
  • Experience testing digital models or software products
  • Experience with radar, electronic surveillance, and radio datalinks
  • Experience with missile guidance and missile countermeasures
