Senior Data Scientist
W2 Pay Rate: $70-90/hr depending on experience Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the development of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions in a complex enterprise environment. This role will work across large and diverse datasets to develop predictive models, automate decision-making processes, and deliver actionable insights that support mission and business objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with practical experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and cloud-based data environments. Success in this role requires the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies while collaborating with engineering, data, and product teams. Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and data science solutions to address complex business and operational challenges
• Build and maintain scalable data processing, feature engineering, and model deployment pipelines
• Develop software and analytical solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization
• Evaluate, validate, and improve machine learning model performance using appropriate statistical techniques and methodologies
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate machine learning capabilities into enterprise applications
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning models in cloud environments
• Develop technical documentation, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline
• Experience developing software solutions using Python, Java, Scala, or similar programming languages
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and/or functional programming principles
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience applying natural language processing (NLP) methodologies
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and model evaluation techniques
• Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software using Git-based version control systems
• Experience working within CI/CD environments using Git and GitLab
• Experience utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
