Job description

Job Title: Operations Data Analyst Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid) Type: 17 month contract Compensation: $59.69-70.22/hour, depending on qualifications Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite Hours: 40.0

Overview Supports pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment operations by developing operational metrics, maintaining reporting, analyzing performance data, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of patient and operational data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and maintain operational metrics using pharmacy dispensing and platform data.
  • Create and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports for covered entity stakeholders.
  • Analyze operational data using SQL and Excel to identify trends, support issue resolution, and document KPIs.
  • Ensure data quality, availability, and compliance with HIPAA and data governance requirements.
  • Support cross-functional operational reporting, automation, and dispensing data initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical programming language (Python or R).
  • Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or claims/dispensing operational data.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a HIPAA-covered entity with experience handling protected health information (PHI).
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, data governance, and manufacturer versus covered-entity data separation; experience with operational analytics and dashboard reporting preferred.
