Job description

The Millennium Group (TMG) is an award-winning business process outsourcing firm focused on print, mail, document scanning, reception, and related office support services for Fortune 500 companies, professional service firms, and institutions of higher education. TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.
Responsibilities:
  • o Process outbound mail on the postage machine
    o process outbound packages
    o Sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages
    o Data entry input of daily numbers
    o Check and respond to email in a timely manor
    o Operation of manual pallet jacks and flatbed carts
    o Use of a PDA/scanner for accountable package receiving and delivery
    o Float from building to building on campus as needed

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx and/or UPS.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of operating instructions and processes for machines.
  • Basic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company.
  • Basic understanding of postage rates and regulations.
  • Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Basic computer skills etc: data entry, micro soft office and INTERNET.
