Talent Acquisition Specialist – Healthcare / Clinical Research - Remote for either CST or EST - hours are 9-6 or 10-7 Monday through Friday.
Contract role until the end of the year - may go permanent
Overview
We are seeking a well-rounded Talent Acquisition Specialist with 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience to support hiring across clinical and healthcare-related roles. This individual will be a strategic partner to hiring leaders, with expertise in sourcing passive candidates, managing requisitions end-to-end, and leveraging an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) effectively.
This is not an executive recruiting role—focus is on non-exempt and mid-level positions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting:
- Job intake and posting
- Sourcing (including passive candidates)
- Screening and interviewing
- Offer management
- Soft handoff to onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers across both new and tenured leadership to align on talent strategy
- Proactively build pipelines for high-volume and niche clinical roles
- This recruiter will primarily support high-volume recruitment for roles such as: Registered Nurses (RN), Medical Receptionists, Medical Assistants, Medical Coordinators, Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC),Research Assistants (RA)
- Leverage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Maintain accurate candidate data
- Improve workflows and reporting
- Support ATS rollouts, enhancements, or process improvements
- Ensure compliance with:
- EEO guidelines
- OFCCP (OSCP) regulations
- Conduct sourcing via job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other creative channels
- Track and report recruiting metrics and progress using Excel and ATS tools

Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of recruiting experience (full lifecycle required)
- Proven experience in:
- Healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environments
- Recruiting for non-exempt roles
- Hands-on experience with an ATS system (advanced user / “guru” level)
- Working knowledge of:
- EEO and OFCCP compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Word
- Excel (reporting, tracking, data management)
- Experience using Workable a plus
