The Regulatory Reporting team, part of Schwab’s Corporate Controller organization, is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial, regulatory, risk, and performance reporting for the consolidated company and its subsidiaries. As Manager, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, you will help strengthen the data, processes, and controls that support reports provided to federal regulators and the investing public.

In this role, you will own the team’s change management process, partner with technology and business teams to automate reporting workflows, and use data analytics to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and improve data quality. You will evaluate complex reporting processes, make informed decisions about control and efficiency improvements, and help integrate new products into established reporting frameworks.

Your ability to solve problems, adapt to evolving requirements, and build collaborative relationships across product, technology, risk, accounting, and other business areas will be critical to success. Through this work, you will improve reporting accuracy, strengthen data governance, and help create scalable solutions that support Schwab’s regulatory obligations and long‑term growth.

What you have

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • Banking or financial services experience with demonstrated knowledge of banking products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau
  • Demonstrated Data Analytics skills, including the ability to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong Communication skills, including experience developing and delivering presentations to management
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving and Decision Making skills when evaluating complex data, reporting issues, and process risks
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage daily responsibilities while meeting critical reporting deadlines

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, or risk reporting processes
  • Experience applying Data Governance practices to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and control effectiveness
  • Experience with Change Management in a regulated or business‑led development environment
  • Demonstrated Process Improvement skills, including evaluating workflows and implementing scalable efficiency improvements
  • Ability to build Cross‑Functional Collaboration across technology, product, risk, accounting, and business teams
  • Adaptability when responding to changing regulatory requirements, reporting needs, technology, or business priorities

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
