About The Position
The Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst will be part of a team responsible for creating and monitoring key risk indicators (KRI) through proactive Risk Management principles and providing insights into the health of the portfolio. This is an In-House position, must live within a 20 miles radius.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Support the Risk Management team in reporting, data analysis, and model construction.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and monitor reports to measure KRI's across all departments.
  • Perform data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist in the design of a Data Warehouse.
  • Deliver ad hoc reports.
  • Participate in evaluating new technologies so as to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organization Business Intelligence needs.
  • Identify deviations from forecast/expectations and explain variances.
  • Contribute to loss forecasts, demographic and credit limit utilization analysis.
  • Prepare exhibits and supporting materials.
  • Drive KRI's and behavior in all departments through developing policies and procedures.
  • Track portfolio performance and risk strategy results.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage statistical solutions to solve business problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in data extraction, transformation and database development in the finance industry, auto finance is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of reporting packages, like Tableau, PowerBI, iDashboards, etc.
  • Knowledge of R, Python, Java a plus!
  • Ability to utilize analytics in a collaborative manner across business functions and product lines to derive optimum solutions.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate and analyze data across large databases.
  • Detail oriented and organized with a strong work ethic and team focus.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage more than one assignment at a time.
  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or any other quantitative discipline.

Salary: $76,600.00 - $97,800.00 annually + Bonus
