About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Platform Engineer to join our growing data platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures to support cross-functional teams. You'll work with a variety of data sources and technologies to ensure efficient data flow, high-quality data delivery, and robust data models that power business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data acquisition and ingestion pipelines using ETL tools such as SSIS and Alteryx.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources including SQL Server, SAP, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and flat files.
  • Optimize data flow and improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage Alteryx administration, user roles, and advanced workflow configurations.
  • Define and maintain data architecture standards, including modeling, metadata, and security.
  • Create and optimize data models to support business applications and analytics.
  • Review and enhance existing data systems for compatibility and performance.
  • Automate workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development.
  • 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
  • 3+ years of experience in Alteryx administration and advanced workflow management.
  • 5+ years of experience working with multiple database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Teradata).
  • 2+ years of experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Desired skills:
  • Experience with BI lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft VBA, HTML, and Python.
