About Us

Lifeguard Pediatrics is a growing, patient-centered pediatric and family medical practice dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children, adolescents, and their families. Our mission is to improve lives through excellence in clinical care, behavioral health services, preventive medicine, and compassionate patient support. As we continue expanding our behavioral and developmental services, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Psychometrician to join our multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview

The Psychometrician will play a key role in supporting our developmental and behavioral health evaluation services, including autism assessments, cognitive and learning evaluations, ADHD diagnostic testing, and other standardized psychological and educational assessments. Working under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist, the Psychometrician will administer, score, document, and coordinate testing results to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Administer standardized psychological, developmental, cognitive, and behavioral assessments for children and adolescents
  • Score testing instruments and generate structured score reports
  • Assist in gathering developmental history, school records, and parent/teacher questionnaires
  • Maintain strict testing protocols to ensure validity and reliability
  • Observe and document patient behavior during testing
  • Support autism evaluation workflows including ADOS-2, CARS-2, SRS-2, Vineland-3, BASC-3, Conners, etc.
  • Coordinate scheduling and testing logistics with clinical and administrative teams
  • Maintain, secure, and track testing materials and supplies
  • Provide data to supervising psychologist/psychiatrist for interpretation and diagnostic determination
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field required OR current Phd/PsyD/EdS graduate student in Psychology.
  • Experience administering standardized clinical, educational, or cognitive tests preferred
  • Knowledge of commonly used instruments (e.g., WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WIAT-4, Vineland-3, BASC-3, ADOS-2) strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Experience working with children and adolescents (clinical, school, or research setting)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Empathy, patience, professionalism, and comfort working with neurodiverse children and families

Schedule amp; Compensation

Competitive pay range: $48,000โ€“$65,000 annually (depending on experience)
