We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data models. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, hands-on experience with Snowflake, and experience working with JSON scripting and semi-structured data. The role will collaborate closely with Product Owners, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design efficient data models that support analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
Build and optimize data models for Snowflake data warehouse environments.
Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis.
Work with semi-structured data (JSON) for ingestion, parsing, and transformation.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
Implement best practices for data modeling, naming conventions, and documentation.
Optimize data structures to improve performance, scalability, and data accessibility.
Maintain data documentation, lineage, and metadata for enterprise datasets.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in data modeling and database design.
Strong expertise in SQL and relational database concepts.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
Experience working with JSON scripting and semi-structured data.
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
