Program Overview Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period. About The Role Peraton requires Cloud Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. The Cloud Systems Administrator is a pivotal role within our IT infrastructure team, providing tier three systems support in line with the SIE OPORD. Responsibilities: * Manage and administer the AWS/Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
* Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
* Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
* Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
* Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.
* Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
* Ensure all resources components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
* Innovate and implement new technologies to advance mission readiness.
#SITEC2026 #SITEChawaii Qualifications Required Qualifications: * BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience.
* DoD TS/SCI clearance is required. * DoD 8570 IAT II Certification * At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
* Minimum of 2+ years of AWS/Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
* Proven track record in managing production Windows Servers and implementing top-tier security practices within an enterprise environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft operating platforms and office applications.
* This position demands a comprehensive understanding of government PAAS, SAAS coupled with advanced skills in analysis, troubleshooting, and system design. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a critical component of this role.
* Demonstrated ability in performance optimization and system engineering processesHighly Desired Qualifications: * Must be DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 451 - System Administrator - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
Details Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
