Position: Oracle Programmer

Location: Horsham PA 

Duration: 10+ Months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Safety Data Programmer is responsible for providing programming support to internal customers. The Programmer performs complex SQL database searches that cannot be performed using the GMS Adverse Event application software. Additionally, the Safety Data Programmer is responsible to ensure that search algorithms are clearly and consistently documented and that quality checks are completed to ensure high quality output. 

May be asked to help migrate Oracle functions, procedures and packages from company custom safety system to the Oracle 7.x Argus Safety System. 



Qualifications


 Demonstrable strong and extensive Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a small in-house team. 

Proven problem solving abilities. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. 

BS Computer Science (or related experience). 

Previous pharmaceutical experience preferred. 

Previous working experience in web development with .NET is a plus. 

Previous Oracle Argus experience and/or Oracle OBIEE experience a plus. 

4 - 6 years programming experience is required.
