LOCATIONย : OVERLAND PARK, KS

DAY 1 ONSITE

5 DAYS/WEEK

We are looking for a highly skilled and experiencedย Database Developerย with deep expertise inย Python programmingย ,ย Azure Data Factory (ADF)ย , andย Azure SQL / Cosmos DB / other Azure databasesย . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, ETL pipeline development, and cloud-based database solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines usingย Azure Data Factory
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusableย Pythonย code for data ingestion, transformation, and automation tasks
  • Work withย Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DBย , and other Azure data storage services to manage data structures and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
  • Implement data validation, quality checks, and monitoring across data pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure security and compliance across data processes and platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience inย database development / data engineering
  • Strong expertise inย Pythonย , especially for data processing and scripting
  • Proven hands-on experience withย Azure Data Factory (ADF)ย , including pipeline creation, data flows, and triggers
  • Experience withย Azure SQL Databaseย ,ย Cosmos DBย , or similar cloud-native databases
  • Solid understanding ofย ETL/ELT conceptsย ,ย data modelingย , andย data warehousing
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines in data workflows
