The Data Program Management Leader will ensure the Enterprise Data Team's strategic priorities are translated into coordinated, well-governed, and successfully executed initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role will partner with Data Leadership, Business, Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and enterprise PMO organizations to lead planning and execution across the Enterprise Data portfolio.
This individual will oversee program governance, portfolio reporting, financial tracking, risk management, executive communications, and change management while providing leadership with visibility into portfolio health, priorities, and business outcomes.
What You Are Good At
  • Enterprise Program & Portfolio Leadership: Leading complex, cross-functional programs and translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Governance, Risk & Execution Management: Establishing effective governance, managing risks and dependencies, and driving accountability to ensure successful execution.

What You Will Do
Data Program & Portfolio Management
  • Manage the integrated Enterprise Data portfolio, ensuring initiatives are planned, prioritized, and delivered in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Establish project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements across concurrent initiatives.
  • Coordinate portfolio planning across Data Leadership, Business, Technology, and enterprise PMO organizations.
  • Monitor performance, identify delivery risks, and facilitate timely issue resolution.
  • Support annual and quarterly planning and portfolio prioritization.

Portfolio Governance & Executive Reporting
  • Establish governance processes that provide transparency into scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, status reports, Board materials, and leadership presentations.
  • Coordinate steering committees and leadership reviews, including action tracking and follow-up.
  • Maintain key portfolio documentation and facilitate the escalation and resolution of risks and issues.

Financial & Resource Management
  • Support financial planning, budget tracking, forecasting, and resource reporting for Enterprise Data.
  • Monitor project financials, consulting engagements, vendor activity, and overall budget performance.
  • Support business cases, funding requests, and investment tracking to inform portfolio decisions.

Communications & Change Management
  • Develop communications that support enterprise data initiatives and organizational transformation.
  • Coordinate stakeholder updates, executive messaging, and change management activities.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, training, adoption planning, and organizational readiness.

PMO Standards & Operational Excellence
  • Establish consistent project management methodologies, tools, templates, and reporting practices.
  • Continuously improve portfolio governance, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support operating plans, organizational objectives, performance metrics, and leadership planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Data Leadership on portfolio health, execution risks, and delivery performance.

What You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • 8-10 years of experience leading complex enterprise programs, portfolios, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives across Business and Technology organizations.
  • Experience with portfolio governance, executive reporting, strategic planning, budgets, resource planning, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and organizational change management.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
  • Financial services industry experience preferred.
