Job description

Job Summary:
Voya Financial is committed to providing opportunities for a better financial future for individuals and communities. The Senior Program Manager will lead large-scale cloud migration efforts, coordinating across various teams to ensure successful application migration and modernization.
Responsibilities:
• Drive applications through our factory model: design, remediate, build, test, and migrate.
• Manage application remediation and development efforts required to prepare workloads for migration, including currency / vulnerability, security updates, and cloud standards adherence.
• Coordinate across application development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, networking, database, security, DevOps, operations, and business teams to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
• Ensure migration readiness for each application wave, including environment preparation, connectivity, security controls, monitoring, backup and recovery, cutover planning, rollback planning, and operational handoff.
• Lead cross-functional execution during migration events, cutovers, testing windows, and post-migration support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale cloud migration, data center exit, infrastructure modernization, or application modernization programs.
• Hands-on program leadership experience coordinating migration work across application, infrastructure, security, network, database, operations, and business teams.
• Experience managing application remediation and development efforts required to support cloud migration readiness and production deployment.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts across compute, storage, networking, databases, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, identity, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and environment provisioning.
• Working knowledge of security capabilities and controls required for cloud migration, including access management, firewalls, web application firewalls, key vaults, certificates, secrets management, and secure connectivity patterns.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, SRE practices, and cloud operating models.
• Ability to actively listen to technical resources, ask probing questions, and identify project dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions across application, infrastructure, data, network, and security.
• Demonstrated ability to pivot quickly between technical and business topics, manage competing priorities, and flourish in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic delivery environment.
• Working knowledge of public cloud migration concepts and patterns across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or similar cloud providers.
• Experience operating in regulated environments with security, compliance, audit, privacy, or risk management requirements.
