Job description

Progress Container & Display, a TRG company and affiliate of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Project Manager to support our Winder, GA facility! The Project Manager will assist customers, external as well as internal, the sales team, purchasing, accounting, design, production and shipping. Primary roles are to process orders, new and repeat, and follow them from beginning to end.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
  • Order entry / data processing.
  • Create and maintain job files for each item per customer.
  • Daily filing (customer invoices/credits, job jackets, etc.).
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Visit customers when requested.
  • Inventory management.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets when necessary.
  • Maintain customer files (spec maintenance, pricing).
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Teams).
  • Cross train.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Estimate jobs.
  • Promptly answer multi line phone system.
  • Assist co-workers when time permits.
  • Work office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, printers).
  • Assist various account managers with job estimates, entering projects, processing orders, running reports or other requests they may have.
  • Possible travel to other locations (ie., Nashville warehouse).
  • Sign for and distribute deliveries from Fed-Ex, UPS, USPS.
  • Keeping workspace neat and tidy.
  • Create and maintain projects in design program (FOCUS).

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No industry experience required.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to learn computer programs.
