Job description

The HR Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the company's HR systems by maintaining accurate employee data, processing system transactions, assisting with reporting, and providing end-user support. This role partners with Human Resources, Payroll, and Information Technology to ensure HR systems operate efficiently while delivering excellent service to employees and managers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS and process employee transactions, including new hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and terminations.
  • Perform regular audits of employee records to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support HR, Payroll, and business leaders by preparing standard and ad hoc reports and assisting with workforce data requests.
  • Assist with HR system testing, upgrades, new feature implementations, and process improvements.
  • Respond to HR system inquiries from employees and managers, providing timely support and resolving routine issues.
  • Partner with Payroll and HR team members to ensure accurate data flow between HR systems and related applications.
  • Maintain HR system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with security access requests, user account maintenance, and system permissions following company guidelines.
  • Support onboarding, performance management, learning, compensation, benefits, and other HR processes through accurate system administration.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes, and enhance the employee and manager experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS, Payroll, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience working with an HRIS or payroll system preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed or field-based workforces.
  • Experience working in multiple HR Systems - UKG, Workday, Dayforce etc.
