Position Summary:

The Department of Undergraduate Admissions at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Enrollment Processing Coordinator in Boca Raton, FL.


The position analyzes data, conducts special projects, collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, and may participate in recruitment initiatives and student outreach efforts.


Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Review and input data from domestic and international transcripts into the Student Information System using Optical Character Reading software and/or data entry.
  • Review and input SAT/ACT/AP/AICE/IB data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support internal operations and external reporting requirements.
  • Match documents or test scores to the correct students' files.
  • Export and upload student records to the university's document management system (e.g., OnBase).
  • Draft and maintain professional email correspondence for timely and effective communication with applicants, university departments, and external partners, including the Registrar's Office, University Advising, and Parchment.
  • Resolve complex student inquiries and cross-department issues that require troubleshooting.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements. Assist with testing applications or other new technology.
  • Participate in regular training on Slate CRM, Optical Character Recognition software, Document Imaging, and LinkedIn Learning for professional and skill development.
  • Participate in a handful of recruitment events, front lobby operations, phone coverage, and prospective student inquiries as needed to ensure a positive applicant experience.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned by the Director or Associate Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytic and interpretation skills.
The ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, critically think and troubleshoot, as well as attention to detail are critical in this position.
The ability to craft professional email communication to follow up with applicants and co-workers is essential.
