Job description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a DATA PROCESSING SPECIALIST I to work under minimal supervision, uses a variety of software packages to provide advanced word processing and desktop publishing services to a department. Enters data into computer, generates reports and tables from input data, and creates and maintains database files. May handle phone calls from study participants and enter information into database. May handle test administrations for students. May install software packages and train other office personnel in their use. 

(Hourly Rate:  $15.00  -  $17.62)

High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience required.
