Data Entry and Word Processing

Employment Type: Contract

Work Hours: 37.5 hrs./week Work site: 100% Onsite

Location: 1411 Broadway, New York, NY 10018

Job Duration: 1 Year Closing: 04/15/2026

Job Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented temporary staff to assist with data entry and document scanning to help address a backlog of case files within the office. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and word processing tasks with high accuracy
  • Scan and digitize case files to reduce physical backlog
  • Maintain proper organization of documents and records
  • Ensure quality assurance and accuracy of entered/scanned data
  • Handle confidential materials with discretion and professionalism
  • Follow established procedures and instructions carefully

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any prior experience in office work, data entry, or document scanning is acceptable
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable following instructions and meeting deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data entry and quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Capture Pro, or Content Manager
