Job description

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.
We are currently seeking a Temporary Office Assistant for our administrative office located in Saint Paul, MN (I94 &280)
Temporary Office Assistant responsibilities:
  • Maintain appropriate records, including resident and applicant files
  • Assist with the move-in process and intake functions
  • Answering telephone inquiries, maintaining interest lists and waiting lists for applicants
  • Compiling and mailing requested information to applicants, and receiving housing applications and reviewing for accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to resident calls and other inquiries related to resident certification or recertification, residents by phone with completing necessary forms.
  • Talk with applicants to determine eligibility for housing.

Temporary Office Assistant qualifications:
  • Successful administrative experience and experience with standard business equipment and office practices.
  • Proficiency in all standard administrative functions, and strong computer and data processing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail with the flow of large amounts of paperwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally, effectively, and positively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
