Job description

Cyber Data Privacy - Associate Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our attorneys and clients to provide expert counsel on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues.

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Advise clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy law compliance

โ€ข Conduct information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions

โ€ข Draft data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions

โ€ข Assist with data breach response and incident response planning

โ€ข Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects

Requirements:

โ€ข 4-7 years of experience advising clients on cyber/data/privacy compliance issues

โ€ข High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school

โ€ข Strong analytical and writing skills

โ€ข Experience working in a private law firm or in-house position
