A CALL TO ACTION:
As we charge ahead in the competitive world of technology and global sustainment, we need a strong Operations Specialist to support our current and future projects, including the launch of our fulfillment center and support of two of our newest campus locations. This critical position will collaborate with fellow SILTT teammates and stakeholders as we continue to grow in adjacent solutions spaces. This Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to be on the ground floor and help define the trajectory of our future!
Essential Duties Include:

  • End-to-End Logistics: Manage the complete cycle of material handling: Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
  • Order Execution: Own the order fulfillment process, ensuring all shipments are accurate, securely packaged, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Freight Management: Oversee loading/unloading operations and coordinate with couriers to optimize inbound/outbound flow.
Material Analysis & ERP Oversight
  • Systemic Analysis: Use the ERP system and advanced spreadsheets to perform autonomous material analysis, monitoring stock aging, velocity, and consumption patterns.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Lead regular inventory audits (cycle counts and wall-to-wall) to maintain 99%+ accuracy.
  • Management Reporting: Generate and present weekly reports to management regarding inventory levels, fulfillment bottlenecks, and warehouse performance metrics.
Warehouse Management & Process Compliance
  • Safety Leadership: Oversee the daily safety posture of the warehouse, ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety protocols.
  • Audit Support: Act as a key participant in process and quality audits, providing documentation and demonstrating workflow compliance.
  • Forklift Operations: Maintain expert proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operation, ensuring the safe movement of oversized or high-value infrastructure components in and around the operations spaces.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine material flow and storage density to maximize facility throughput.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
  • Strong experience using ERP/WMS systems for inventory management and material tracking.
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Proven experience following strict operational standards and supporting process/safety audits.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead inventory and process audits, and provide reporting on corrective actions.
  • Current Forklift Operator certification.
  • Ability to distill complex warehouse data into clear reports for management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma
  • Advanced Logistics & Expediting: Skilled in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and courier software (i.e. FedEx/UPS shipping platform) for effective courier management and order expediting.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) or ISO 9001 standards.
  • Kitting/Assembly: Experience with material kitting or sub-assembly for technical hardware.
  • Experience with OSHA 10/30 or general industrial safety frameworks.
WORK LOCATION & HOURS:
The work associated with this role must be performed on-site at our Leesburg Headquarters, though some travel may be required for periodic support as needed.
