Operations Intern
JOB SUMMARY:
We have an opportunity for an Operations Intern at our Lansing location!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with companyโs quality policies, values and philosophies.
- Help facilitate team member training, including but not limited to onboarding, on the job training, creating and modifying content.
- Adhere to Quality philosophies and policies.
- Audit compliance to the versatility matrix, direct labor performance evaluations, etc.
- Actively participate in daily 5S activities.
- Drive safety culture and promote safety as a personal value.
- Comply with all national, local, and Company policies and regulations.
- Assist with audit processes to identify gaps in policies and procedures and implement corrective actions for any nonconformities (PVS, SOT, 5S)
- Validate daily operational documents.
- Participate in engagement activities.
- Actively participate in staffing and scheduling activities.
- Be a collaborative partner and actively communicate with all departments within the facility.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Previous work experience preferred
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Office suite

- Computer literacy to include Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite
