Description
The Director of Data Technologies will lead the team that manages the platforms and data related to sales, ERP and business management. This team will provide written and numerical information on company trends, volume of sales, customer experience and company activities by creating detailed reports on findings and identify areas for improvement, summarize data and provide recommendations to management and teams.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years related experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • At least 8 years' experience working in Business Intelligence, CRM Management or related field.
  • Proven aptitude for interpreting data and turning it into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to lead a technical team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a busy, multi-task environment.
  • Ability to develop, execute and lead complex research projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make conclusions and provide recommendations based on data trends from multiple sources.
  • Strong knowledge of database queries, web tools, CRM Systems, demographic profiling systems and data management tools with strong background in Microsoft products.
  • Experience with analytics platforms. Qlik Sense and Qlik nPrinting experience a plus.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, develop, direct, and evaluate the organization's data status and performance.
  2. Provide leadership, vision, and management to the data team while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals. Identify opportunities for improvement in data use and systems and present them to executive leadership.
  3. Prepare statistically accurate reports while illustrating data with graphs and translating complex results into written texts that are clear, understandable, and actionable.
  4. Track and forecast current and future trends in sales and markets and analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with thorough reports, dashboards, and results.
  5. Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits, and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand.
  6. Support the development and execution of large data infrastructure and use, balancing cost, efficiency, and security.
  7. Present verbal or written research findings and demonstrate analysis for internal constituents.
  8. Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  9. Observe and adhere to the DMP Data Classification Standard.
  10. Observe company policies and continuously strive to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.
  11. May perform related duties or fill in for others in the department or other departments when requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding their duties.
  12. Contribute to team efforts by performing other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.
