Job description

The Role

The Healthcare Enrollment Systems Analyst supports stability, accuracy, and compliance of healthcare enrollment systems, plan data, application configurations, and carrier integrations. This role combines operations support, systems troubleshooting, data analysis, configuration validation, regulatory readiness, and partner coordination.

In this position, you will help ensure enrollment processes run reliably during both day-to-day operations and high-volume enrollment periods. You will investigate issues, identify root causes, coordinate resolution across multiple teams, and help improve the reliability and efficiency of business-critical healthcare enrollment workflows.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor operational queues, shared inboxes, system alerts, and ticketing channels to identify enrollment, configuration, file transmission, or carrier-related issues.
  • Triage, document, validate, and resolve tickets with clear analysis, business context, and follow-through.
  • Support configuration updates for enrollment applications, including forms, rules, disclaimers, metadata, plan mappings, and enrollment availability settings.
  • Troubleshoot file delivery and integration issues, including delayed, missing, incomplete, or incorrect transmissions.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancement of carrier API integrations and associated data exchange solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve integration issues, perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies, coordinate API updates and carrier-driven changes, and validate system functionality through testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis across applications, data flows, file-processing workflows, vendor platforms, carrier systems, and internal processes.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Quality Assurance, Compliance, account management teams, carriers, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support implementation readiness.
  • Interpret carrier and regulatory requirements and help translate them into operational or system changes.
  • Support annual and seasonal enrollment activities, including high-volume periods such as Annual Enrollment Periods.
  • Identify recurring issues, operational risks, and opportunities to improve reliability, documentation, and process efficiency.
  • Perform tasks assigned by leadership as needed.

The Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare operations, enrollment systems, data operations, production support, technical support, benefits administration, or a similar operational role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues across multiple systems, processes, or teams.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests based on urgency, business impact, compliance considerations, and customer or partner experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate changes before and after implementation.
  • Comfort working with data, system configurations, file transfer processes, ticketing tools, and operational documentation.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across technical, operational, compliance, vendor, carrier, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with seasonal volume spikes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare enrollment, Medicare, individual and family plans, carrier operations, or benefits administration.
  • Experience with Support XML, JSON, and SFTP-based data exchange processes, including configuration updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL or query tools, secure file transfer concepts, system monitoring, ticketing systems, QA validation, or production support processes.
  • Experience supporting regulatory, compliance-driven, or deadline-driven operational requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with external partners, vendors, carriers, or account management teams.
  • Interest in using automation or AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, issue analysis, knowledge management, and operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, and performance in the role.

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
