Job description

Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challenges. Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets. Nightwing is seeking to hire a cleared Field Service Professional to work at our Springfield, Virginia location. The successful applicant will have a background in the construction and trades industry. The applicant will work with other experienced personnel in a cross-functional team environment to create and take innovative solutions from conceptualization through prototype development. Responsibilities include training, testing, procedure development, testbed configuration prep, and fabrication of testbed structures. The applicant will have a strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members to refine procedures and designs. Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Required Skills * Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance
* Minimum two (2) year of relevant experience in the military, construction, or skilled trades industry
* Hands-on experience such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical assembly
* Ability to read and understand conceptual drawings or blueprints
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to travel to local and out of state assignments (less than 10% travel)
* Compliance with Nightwing's Silica Monitoring Program
* Willingness to apply for Nightwing's Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs * Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare written training documentation
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint) Desired Skills * Medium and/or heavy equipment operator
* Military or special operations experience
* Journeyman license or equivalent certification in a skilled trade (e.g. plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
* Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License Desired Education * Associate's degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor's degree preferred) U.S. Citizenship status is required for this position, and it requires the ability to obtain and retain an U.S. Top Secret Clearance with a successful Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. The salary associated with this position ($77,000-$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
