Job Title: Chief Revenue and Data Officer, Gamecock Club
Department: Executive / Revenue Generation
Reports To: Gamecock Club CEO
Location: In-person at the Gamecock Club, University of South Carolina, 1304 Heyward Street, Columbia, SC 29208


Position Overview

The Chief Revenue and Data Officer for the Gamecock Club is a senior leadership role within the University of South Carolina Athletics Department. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic leadership of ticket sales, membership retention, and the development of business intelligence infrastructure. The role oversees a high-performing outbound sales and membership retention team while leading the design and implementation of data strategies that support revenue generation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency across multiple ticketed sports, including football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for outbound ticket sales initiatives across USC Athletics ticketed sports, including premium seating, full-season packages, mini plans, and group sales.
  • Directly supervise the ticket sales, Membership retention, and data intelligence team, including the Director of Retention, VP of Ticket Sales, Account Executives, and Business Intelligence staff.
  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative sales strategies utilizing emerging technologies and digital platforms.
  • Design and implement business intelligence systems and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, and data warehouse platforms.
  • Oversee and manage the department's CRM and email marketing platforms to enhance targeted communication and fan engagement.
  • Lead the annual ticket revenue budgeting process for all ticketed sports.
  • Collaborate with Gamecock Club units and other departments to deploy data-driven solutions that support donor acquisition and retention, event performance, and overall revenue growth.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards for all ticket/membership related interactions.
  • Comply with all NCAA, SEC, and University policies and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the CEO.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person position based at the Gamecock Club offices on the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, SC. Occasional evening and weekend hours are expected in alignment with athletics events and donor engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in sports ticket sales or related fields.
  • Experience within a collegiate athletics environment strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster Archtics), CRM platforms, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau).
