Team Overview

This role will report into a Director of Data Asset Management, supporting the management and development of prioritized credit and non-credit data domains within the Data Asset Management team. You will work closely with senior data product managers and cross-functional partners to support the lifecycle of assigned data domains, including onboarding, standardization, quality monitoring, and enhancement. You will help ensure that contributing data sources are aligned to consistent standards and are structured for reliable and scalable use. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Build a working understanding of assigned data domains, including data sources, structures, and key business use cases
  • Support domain leads in managing credit and non-credit data domains and aligning them to business priorities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data schemas for ingestion and storage, ensuring consistency and usability
  • Monitor data domains for quality, completeness, and consistency, and escalate issues or gaps as identified
  • Support the development and tracking of data quality standards, SLAs, and KPIs
  • Partner with data users and stakeholders to gather feedback and support improvements to data usability and accessibility
  • Develop an understanding of how data is used in downstream processes, analytics, and products
  • Contribute to initiatives to enhance, replace, or retire data assets, including supporting impact assessments and coordination activities
  • Collaborate across data asset management, Solutions, and Global Technology teams to support execution of data requirements and implementation of structured data solutions

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in management, economics, finance or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in data, product management, analytics, or related roles
  • Foundational understanding of data concepts, including data structures, quality, and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ability to support delivery of data or product initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Pay Scale Information:The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
