Project Manager Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Project Manager to support a federal program focused on public health data modernization and interoperability. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for managing multiple public health modernization projects. The position requires experience supporting complex technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders. Program Overview Program: Public Health Data Modernization Mission overview: Supporting various state and local public health agencies in modernizing their data and infrastructure, promoting data exchange and interoperability using modern health IT standards. Key Details Location: Remote Clearance: None Work Authorization: Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Responsibilities * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing strong client relationships, responsiveness, and accountability. * Maintain and update project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and tasks using Jira and approved documentation. * Facilitate meetings such as standups, check-ins, and retrospectives; prepare agendas, document notes, and track action items. * Coordinate project documentation, including charters, deliverables, meeting materials, and final work products following established templates. * Support risk, issue, and dependency tracking; communicate potential blockers to project leadership. * Collaborate with technical and business teams to align tasks, milestones, and deliverables. * Monitor quality and completeness of project outputs prior to submission or handoff. * Support Agile workflows by coordinating backlog updates, milestones, and Jira task hygiene. * Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned applications. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree * At least four (4) years of full lifecycle project management experience for complex technical initiatives * Experience producing project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive briefings * Managing complex projects with all levels of staff * Successful experience managing multiple projects simultaneously * Hands-on experience working with cross-discipline teams (Technical, Functional, SME) * Ability to operate effectively in evolving requirements * Proven skills managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies in multi-stakeholder environments * Strong command of Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications * Working knowledge of public health systems and surveillance workflows * Direct experience supporting CDC, HHS, or similar federal public health programs * Experience overseeing AI-enabled tools, decision support, or automation in public health contexts * Exposure to DevSecOps, system modernization, or legacy system migration efforts Compensation Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
