Job description

Job Summary (Oracle HCM Data Conversion Lead):
- Lead the end-to-end data conversion lifecycle for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, including planning, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL).
- Develop and execute data conversion strategies, including data governance, cutover planning, and migration sequencing.
- Collaborate with functional leads, data owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and define data mapping rules from legacy systems to Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Oversee the development and automation of data conversion programs, scripts, and processes in accordance with Oracle HCM Cloud specifications.
- Coordinate mock conversions, trial loads, and final cutover activities to ensure successful data migration and system go-live.
- Perform thorough data quality checks, audits, and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness post-migration.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of data load errors and validation failures.
- Ensure adherence to data security and privacy policies throughout the data handling process.
- Produce and maintain clear documentation, including conversion logs, data dictionaries, and reconciliation reports.
- Support all testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and provide data-related defect resolution.
- Collaborate with Oracle and third-party vendors to resolve data conversion issues.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud data structures and modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Absence, etc.).
- Proficiently use SQL, Excel, ETL tools, and Oracle HDL/HSDL/Spreadsheet Loader for data transformation and reconciliation.
- Apply expertise in data mapping, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
- Manage and mentor team members in data conversion activities as needed.
- Maintain strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Experience with legacy HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
