Role: Senior Test Lead - OpenText Ex stream Migration

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to support the migration of PSE's Bill Presentment and Customer Communications platform to OpenText Ex stream. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing comprehensive testing activities to ensure a successful implementation and seamless integration with SAP ECC, AWS-hosted services, and other enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance, data migration testing, system integration testing, and customer communication platforms. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, system integrators, and project leadership to validate document outputs, data integrity, business processes, and overall system functionality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate migrated customer communications, including bills, statements, notices, letters, and other document templates.
  • Execute data migration and ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Verify integrations between OpenText Ex stream, SAP ECC, AWS-hosted services, and downstream enterprise applications.
  • Conduct document comparison and output validation to ensure migrated communications match business and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution using established defect management processes.
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, system integrators, and project teams to resolve issues and improve overall solution quality.
  • Support UAT planning, test execution, defect triage, issue management, and business sign-off activities.
  • Prepare testing status reports, defect summaries, test execution metrics, and evidence documentation.
  • Participate in release validation, production readiness assessments, and post-deployment verification activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Engineering.
  • Strong experience with Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Migration and ETL Testing.
  • Experience testing applications integrated with SAP ECC.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle management, and testing best practices.
  • Experience validating large-scale enterprise application integrations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenText Ex stream, Stream Serve, or other Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms.
  • Experience testing Bill Presentment, Customer Communications, Document Composition, or Statement Generation solutions.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud environments and cloud-hosted applications.
  • Utility, Energy, or Customer Services industry experience.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with output comparison, document validation, and automated testing tools.

The base salary for this position is $109,749 - $150,905, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
